Robert Lewandowski is now a Barcelona player, after joining the club from Bayern Munich.

Lewandowski has admitted that he has been monitoring proceedings at Barcelona for some time now.

According to the veteran striker, Barcelona’s young trio of Pedri, Gavi, and Ansu Fati has made a huge impression on him.

“When I first saw Pedri, Gavi, and Ansu Fati, I knew they had great potential. I am sure that every month and in every game they will be more successful,” Robert Lewandowski has said.

Lewandowski has admitted he knows the Barcelona project was for the future and vowed to give his all.

“I want to give the fans great happiness, as it was in the past,” Robert Lewandowski said on his move to Barcelona.

“I knew that this project was the future, even though the last years were difficult. I didn’t think about it much, because I knew it was the right time for me to join the club.

“I’ve played against Spanish clubs in the Champions League and I know their quality. I am not afraid and I am looking forward to the challenge.”
