Barcelona played out a 1-1 draw with lowly ranked Spanish side Olot in a friendly clash.
Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the opener in the 28th minute of the game.
Just before half-time, Elliott Amagat scored a penalty to level the scores for Olot.
Xavi made 9 changes for the start of the second-half, with neither teams getting on the scoresheet.
The match which was played at the Estadi Municipal d’Olot ended 1-1.
Speaking after the game, 19-year-old Pablo Torre admitted that the team was lacking pace.
According to Torre, the team’s performance was as a result of a lack of training, with the players having just returned from the holidays.
“We wanted to win but we lacked pace, which is obvious because we have only had few training sessions. There’s a lot of preseason left,” Pablo Torre has told TV3.
“I’m very happy to play for such a big club as Barca. I would love to succeed here, but at the moment, I understand that my task is to help the team by whatever means,” he added.
The 19-year-old was arguably the Man of the Match against Olot. The youngster tried to keep up the high tempo in the first half of the game and almost produced an assist.
Torre only played the first half of the game.
