Some days ago, it was looking like Barcelona were going to miss out on a deal for Leeds United winger Raphinha.
However, recent reports have confirmed that the pendulum has swung back in Barca’s favour.
Chelsea had since agreed a fee with Leeds for the winger, and the Blues were the only club to have reached an agreement with Leeds. However, Raphinha wanted to join Barcelona.
Leeds had given an ultimatum to Barcelona to step up their bid for Raphinha or forget about signing the Brazilian.
But all is now clear, as Barcelona and Leeds have reached an agreement for the Leeds man.
According to MailOnline, the breakthrough came after Barcelona have made a late move and tabled a £63m bid.
The report claims that Barca have offered £55m up front plus a further £8m in add-ons.
With the Leeds star having agreed personal terms with Barcelona in March, all is now set for the Brazilian to join the Blaugrana.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on Twitter: “Raphinha feels his move to Barcelona is “imminent”. Final verbal proposal: €72m guaranteed, with all details included. Leeds, expected to accept once it will be official bid. #FCB
