Barcelona have been given the opportunity to sign Argentina star Paulo Dybala on a free transfer.

Paulo Dybala was reportedly close to joining Inter Milan as a free agent before his contract talks with the Serie A side stalled.

The 28-year-old has departed Juventus after the expiration of his contract, and his agent has been offering him to clubs.

It has also been reported that the Argentina star is ready to take a pay cut, despite his availability as a free agent.

“Dybala lowered his demands. Now you can get him for just €6m per season. As a free agent it’s the deal of the year,” reports journalist Angelo Mangiante.

Barcelona were heavily linked with the attacking midfielder in 2017 but the move didn’t go through.

The 28-year-old could play as a second striker or a centre-forward. He scored 15 goals and assisted 6 in 30+ appearances for Juventus last season.

Meanwhile, a good news for Barcelona is that the club has agreed terms with free agent Ousmane Dembele.

Ousmane Dembele has decided to re-sign with Barcelona after having left the club upon the expiration of his contract earlier this month.

The Frenchman’s camp has agreed to a two-year deal with the Blaugrana, putting an end to a lengthy contract negotiation process.

Re-signing Dembele is definitely a big plus for Barcelona, and would feel like a new signing.
