Barcelona are set to confirm the transfer of defender Clement Lenglet.
The 27-year-old has now completed his medical with Spurs, and a transfer is imminent.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed in a tweet: “Clément Lenglet has just completed medical tests with Tottenham. Just waiting for club announcement, fifth signing by Fabio Paratici. #THFC
“Barça are also prepared to announce one more departure with Rey Manaj, in London today to complete his move to Watford. #FCB”
Lenglet joined Barcelona in 2018 from Sevilla, but was never really able to stake a place in the team.
Clement Lenglet never convinced since arriving at Camp Nou and was never a regular at the club.
In his first season at Nou Camp, he played 23 La Liga fixtures, and only played 21 times in the league last season.
The 27-year-old centre-back has five years’ experience in the Spanish top flight, and will now join Tottenham on a loan deal.
