Barcelona is in a tough financial situation, and the club is working hard to come out of it.

A number of players may have to leave the club this summer, to generate funds or reduce the wage bill.

According to reports, Barcelona are open to offers for Memphis Depay this summer but are yet to make a final decision on the Netherlands international’s future.

Delay joined the club on a free transfer last year after running down his contract with Lyon.

Memphis did okay last season as he scored 13 times and contributed two assists in 38 appearances for the club.

Memphis Depay has one year left on his current deal, which is due to expire next June.

There has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent weeks, with Barcelona planning to further improve their attack this summer.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had claimed last week that the attacker is happy at Barcelona and wants to sign a new deal, but the Catalan giants are keeping ‘all options open’ and will listen to any offers that arrive.

“I came here wanting to play for the team. I want to be important for the team next year and for several more years,” Memphis told reporters when questioned on his future towards the end of last season.
