Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele is yet to make his mind about his future.

The 25-year-old is set to leave Barcelona as a free agent at the end of the season, and has been strongly linked with a move to Chelsea.

Reports now have it that Dembele has been left underwhelmed by Chelsea’s contract proposal and could even reconsider the offer on the table from Barcelona.

Barca have made it clear that they would like to keep the winger at Camp Nou and Dembele would like to extend his contract with the club,  but he has been disappointed with the offer from Barcelona.

In a meeting last week, Xavi told the star winger that the club would not be upping its offer.

Barcelona’s salary proposal is less than what he currently earns – and the player’s representatives believe they can get a better deal elsewhere.

With Chelsea now tabling their contract offer to Dembele according to Sport, it is considerably less than he was expecting from the Stamford Bridge outfit.

Meanwhile , Dembele surprised everyone last week when he claimed that he’s staying at Barcelona.

Footage that emerged on social media showed a fan interacting with the Frenchman as they sit in their cars at a traffic light.

“Are you staying in Barcelona?” the fan asked Dembele replying: “Yes.”

The supporter then asked whether Dembele wants to work with Tuchel at Chelsea, to which he replied: “I’m fine at Barcelona.”

It’s yet to be seen if Dembele was joking with the fan or just avoiding the question.
