Barcelona have received an offer for Frenkie de Jong from Premier League side Manchester United.
According to Spanish media outlet Marca via Daily Mail, Manchester United have offered Barcelona £51m plus £17m in potential add-ons for the transfer of Frenkie de Jong.
The report also adds that Barcelona are considering Manchester United’s offer for the Dutch midfielder.
Barcelona are in financial crisis and only view six players as unsellable, with De Jong not considered among that select group.
De Jong, who Marca report has a contract worth around £34m, is thought to be one of those players that Barcelona see as expendable in exchange for capital to invest elsewhere.
The money Barcelona would receive for De Jong would allow the club enter the market for other targets with names such as Robert Lewandowski and Leeds United’s Raphinha being mooted.
