Colombian music sensation and dancer, Shakira has confirmed that she and her footballer partner, Barcelona star, Gerard Pique have parted ways.

The pair have been in a relationship for 11 years, and have two children – a son and a daughter.

According to the Mirror UK, the couple have been living separately for a few weeks after Pique was kicked out of their family home due to infidelity.

After news of the breakup emerged, reports have it that Pique is focused on returning in time for pre-season, as he is extra motivated following his split with singer Shakira.

The centre-back missed the final weeks of the season after the exacerbation of his tendinopathy in the adductor of the left thigh against Mallorca.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Pique is fully focused on returning in time for pre-season on July, 4, as he continues his rehabilitation from the injury that ended his season early.

The 35-year-old’s contract will wind up in the summer of 2024.
