According to journalist, Gerard Romero, Barcelona owe defender Gerard Pique a massive €50million in wages despite agreeing deals to sign Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie on free transfers.

Pique, who returned to Barcelona from Manchester United in 2008, is the highest earner at Barcelona and it has been reported that Barcelona have been unable to pay the defender year after year.

Despite not being paid as regularly as he should, Pique is not making a big deal of his situation behind the scenes.
