It’s expected to be a busy summer transfer window for Barcelona, as the club will be keen on strengthening the squad.

According to a report by Catalan outlet Esport3, Barcelona is working out a deal for Clement Lenglet to leave the club in the summer transfer window.

According to the report, the club is working out a two-year loan move, as the 26-year-old is not in Xavi Hernandez’s plans for next season.

Since joining Barcelona from Sevilla in July 2018, Lenglet has been unable to put in consistent commanding displays even though the French international has established himself as a regular at the back for the Blaugrana.

The 26-year-old started his stint at Camp Nou on fine form, but his stock has steadily declined in the last couple of seasons.

With Andreas Christensen coming in, Lenglet will definitely not be missed.
