Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets has admitted he’s not looking too far forward ahead of his future with Barcelona.

The 33-year-old midfielder has a year left on his current deal with the club, but there have been no talks so far about his future.

Speaking about his future with the club, Busquets said: “I have a contract with the club for another season, and on the national team I only have the upcoming World Cup in mind. Then we have to see what’s going to happen.

“It is not important now, the important thing was to end the season well and to do well in the Nations League.

“Then comes a World Cup, and then we have to fight for our goal in Barcelona.”
